Dear Friends,
I hope you are doing well today, this Saturday. I hope you will join us tomorrow at either 9:00 or 11:00 to celebrate the goodness of God and to praise God for His greatness and love. We will be looking at a story in the Bible that doesn’t get talked about very often, 2 Samuel 6:1-15. This passage tells us about the time that King Davd brought the Ark of the Covenant into Jerusalem. The story has some amazing twists and turns in it. I hope you will read it before we meet for worship. There are some great truths about worship in this story.
We have had some great times together this week in fellowship and study. Today Ladies’ Breakfast was great. At the breakfast, we were talking about how much we enjoyed the Ageless Adventurers trip downtown this week. Then on Wednesday night, we had a great turnout of people for supper, children, youth, adult Bible Study, and choir. At each event, there was great enthusiasm and love. Please see the pictures. Also, I have enclosed an artist’s rendering of the bringing the Ark into Jerusalem. God’s calls us to worship together and love one another as the family of God called Chickasaw Methodist Church.
God Bless
Brother Dave
